The teenager had lied to her father: she had assured that she had been sanctioned for having spoken out against Mr. Paty’s request made to Muslim students, according to her, to report themselves during this course on caricatures, to which she did not had not attended.
At least fifteen people are indicted in this case, including six college students, the father of the teenager and Mr. Sefrioui.
