Considering that the Assassin’s Creed series is more or less regarding a ninja-like organization that’s all regarding Arthasas, it’s odd that Japan hasn’t installed it so far. Fortunately, that’s regarding to change, as Assassin’s Creed Codename Red was announced last September, following a lot of rumors. While we don’t know much regarding the title, it will take place in feudal Japan and is being developed by Ubisoft Quebec (who also made Assassin’s Creed Odyssey). Now it’s been noticed that Ubisoft has been on LinkedIn looking for a partner for “the biggest blockbuster of 2024” in Japan. When Access The Animus noticed this on Twitter, Ubisoft removed the 2024 part, but in Japanese it still says (translated by Bing): “We are looking for sponsoring companies to work with this game scheduled for release next year.” Action RPG game collaboration. While nothing official until we get an official confirmation from Ubisoft, it’s still a good clue as to when the Japanese assassins will be discovered.
