ASSE will go to medical students and retired doctors to increase the Covid tracking team

Wednesday afternoon was hectic. While the Minister of Public Health, Daniel Salinas, was meeting with authorities of the Montevideo Emergency Committee to evaluate what steps to take in the control of Covid-19, the Council of the Faculty of Medicine attended the appointment he had at the University of the Republic. There, the dean and the professors discussed issues related to career management and had an unusual speaker. At around 5 p.m., the general manager of the State Health Services Administration (ASSE), Eduardo Henderson, arrived at the meeting to propose an agreement that encourages the incorporation of medical students to the teams that track cases of coronavirus.
