The panelists aimed to assess the situation of cultural heritage and its limits in its institutional safeguarding. The opportunity was taken to discuss the ”ceebu jen” listed as UNESCO’s intangible heritage.

Intellectuals, like Professor Ibrahima Wane, Mamadou Jean Charles Tall and Dr Pape Massène Sène, did not fail to provide some guidelines regarding the valorization of cultural heritage to ensure transmission for future generations. .

This conference was held as part of the 12th edition of Fesnac which takes place from January 8 to 12 in Fatick.
