The Union Association of Public Health of Río Negro (Asspur) called minimum care and therapy nurses from the Zatti de Viedma hospital to a meetingn, to inform about the “different situations that the sector suffers for a long time, which we consider to be serious and that need to find a solution as soon as possible.”
This note is addressed to the heads of the minimum and intermediate care service, to the head of the Nursing Department and to the Director of the José Pacayut Hospital in Vieden.
That invitation is scheduled for this Thursday and will highlight the biggest drawbacks that the sector is going through, such as “understaffed, that puts the lives of patients at risk and difficulty in the appropriate quality of care for complex and non-complex patients”.
Asspur also points out that there are “problems in the Mental Health Sector” and “lack of elements for patient control”. In addition, he points out that there are “communication problems with the head of services.”
On the other hand, the note states that it is of the utmost importance “to guarantee the legal protection of workers, who are at risk of involuntarily engaging in malpractice actions.”
