Dubai: The Aster Pharmacy division of Aster DM Healthcare is expanding its operations to Saudi Arabia. More than 250 stores will be opened in Saudi within 5 years. Signed MoU with Al Hocare Holdings in Saudi Arabia to provide services in nutrition, baby care, skin care and home health care.
Aster will work with Al Hocare on a long-term basis in the field of pharmacy. The first pharmacy will be opened in Riyadh. Later, pharmacies will open in Saudi high streets, communities and shopping malls. As a second step, Aster will also venture into pharmaceutical manufacturing to support Saudi Vision 2030.
Being the largest, most populous and fastest growing country in the GCC, Saudi Arabia decided to expand its presence. Through the expansion of Aster Pharmacy, the plan is to expand primary care systems.
Alisha Mooppan, Deputy Managing Director of Aster DM Healthcare, said that the aim is to provide Aster Pharmacy services nearby to anyone in any part of Saudi Arabia. Alisha said that the pharmacy store and pharmacist will be available 24/7.
