Asus introduced the world’s first fitness bracelet with an under-screen ECG sensor

In a bracelet there is one feature: it can measure health indicators, but not through the sensors on the back, but through the display. An ECG sensor and a photoplethysmographic sensor (pulse oximeter) are built right into the screen. In bracelets, this solution is used for the first time.

When the user puts a finger on a certain area, the gadget simultaneously measures the ECG, heart rate and stress level. You can also find out the pulse wave index. It is needed to assess the condition of the vessels. On the back there is only one sensor – SpO2, which monitors the level of oxygen in the blood in the background.

Otherwise, this is an ordinary fitness bracelet. You can create a sleep schedule, start workouts, count steps, view notifications, and set an alarm with a timer. Installed 0.96-inch OLED display. On a single charge VivoWatch 5 Aero will last three days. Frankly, this is not enough for such a gadget.

Of the benefits: moisture protection 5 ATM, magnetic charging and weight (30 g). The model is already on sale in China. The cost is 840 yuan (7700 rubles). It is still unknown regarding leaving the country, but in Russia you can already buy an alternative from Xiaomi.
