Asus teases a new Pro Series motherboard!

For the moment, we know almost nothing about this new model teased by the brand… Not even its name. We just know that it will belong to the pro range of the Taiwanese manufacturer. With the imminent launch of the new Intel Sapphire Rapids CPUs, we therefore expect a model with a socket LGA-4677 and a chipset W790.

De facto, we expect a massive model in the format E-ATXof dimensions equivalent to the Pro WS WRX80E-Sage in AMD. Ditto, it should integrate a large number of memory locations. Recall that these CPU manage up to 8 memory channels in DDR5. In addition, compatible processors can carry up to 56 cores clocked at up to 4.8 GHz. Ditto for memory management with support for 4TB of DDR5 at most.

Finally, we can expect the worthy successor to the Pro WS C621-64L Sage, equipped with a socket LGA-3647. As for the price, it’s hard to say what the exact amount of the bill will be, although we imagine it at least equivalent to its AMD counterpart.
