ASV Linz sets mixed record over 4 x 50 m individual medley

At the end of the first day of the Austrian championships, the mixed relay of ASV Linz over 4 x 50 m individual medley in 1:41.98 minutes in Wr. Neustadt marked a new Austrian record. World Championship starters Simon Bucher, Bernhard Reitshammer, Lena Kreundl and Lisa Süsser were involved.

With the exception of Felix Auböck, all the stars of the Austrian Swimming Association (OSV) are represented in the Aqua Nova in the short course title fights until Sunday. Also the six participants of the Short Course World Championships from December 12th to 18th in Melbourne. For the OSV team, Wiener Neustadt is the last test before leaving for Australia on December 6th. On Thursday, five World Cup starters were in action, who also entered the list of winners and won their first national championship titles in 2022.

Kreundl won the 400m individual medley in 4:44.07 minutes, Jan Hercog took the title in the 1,500m crawl (15:03.90), while Lena Opatril (8:39.86) was ahead in the women’s 800m crawl.
