Asylum applications in Austria: From January to May 4,045 procedures completed in an accelerated manner – integration

Vienna – From January to May, a total of 4,045 asylum procedures were processed in an accelerated manner. According to the Ministry of the Interior, these were mainly asylum applications from nationals from Morocco, Pakistan, India, Tunisia and Egypt. In total, the Federal Office for Immigration and Asylum (BFA) made more than 21,200 decisions during this period.
