At least 34 people were killed and injured in a traffic accident in South Sinai

Seventeen Egyptians were killed and 17 others were injured in a collision between a microbus and a public transport bus on the international road El-Tur – Ahmed Hamdi Tunnel, in South Sinai, this morning, Saturday.
Major General Sherif Raouf, Director of South Sinai Security, said that he had received a notification from the Roads Security Department of a terrible collision on the international road about 13 kilometers before the city of El-Tor, between a bus west and central Delta, which was on its way to Sharm El-Sheikh, and a microbus, which resulted in the death of 17 people were injured and 17 others were injured.
He pointed out that 21 ambulances arrived at the scene of the accident, where the bodies were taken to Al-Tur General Hospital, and the injured to Al-Zahra Hospital in Tor Sinai.
Major General Khaled Fouda, Governor of South Sinai, issued a decision to form an operations room and follow up on the incident.
