The Iraqi Anbar Governorate Health Department announced, through its Facebook account, the birth of triplets to an Iraqi man over the age of seventy.
In its statement, the department said, “Fallujah Hospital for Women and Children witnessed the birth of female twins to a 33-year-old mother with a successful caesarean section.”
She revealed that “the father of triplets (72 years) suffered from deprivation for 50 years, despite his marriage to four wives, until the will of the Creator wanted him to have twins from his fourth wife.”
Regarding their health status, the doctor supervising their condition said, “The birth took place in the eighth month of pregnancy, but the girls and their mother are in good health, except for one of them who suffers from weight loss and was placed in the neonatal ward under care.”
