The exchange rate of the US dollar against the Egyptian pound, at the Central Bank of Egypt, rose by about 9 piasters, during the past week, to reach the level of 19.35 pounds, and the official price of the customs dollar.
The dollar earns 9 piasters in a week
The price of the dollar against the pound stabilized, in the first two days of the start of the banks’ work during the past week, at the level of 19.16 pounds for purchase, and 19.27 pounds for sale.
At the end of trading last Tuesday at the Central Bank of Egypt, the dollar gained two piasters against the pound, rising to 19.18 pounds for sale and 19.28 pounds for purchase.
Then the dollar continued to rise during the close of trading on Wednesday, winning 3 piasters, reaching the level of 19.21 pounds for purchase, and 19.31 pounds for sale in the Central Bank of Egypt.
At the end of the last day of the week’s trading, the dollar continued to rise against the pound, by about 4 piasters, to be considered the highest increase during the past week, bringing the dollar in the Central Bank to 19.25 pounds for purchase, and 19.35 pounds for sale.
