Share costs fell barely on the shut of the final session of the week on the Athens Inventory Trade, with low turnover, amid unfavourable sentiment in European markets as effectively, within the wake of yesterday’s (23.5.2024) fall on Wall Avenue, attributable to considerations regarding greater rates of interest for an extended time period.
Specifically, the Basic Index closed at 1,477.69 factors, registering a drop of 0.27%. Intra-sessionally it recorded a cheaper price of 1,469.72 items (-0.81%), whereas on a weekly foundation, the principle inventory market index recorded a drop of 0.86%, whereas for the reason that starting of 2024 it has recorded positive aspects of 14.27% .
The worth of transactions fell to decrease ranges and fluctuated for the second session under 100 million euros. It amounted to 86.94 million euros, whereas 16,590,763 shares had been traded.
The big-cap index fell 0.24%, whereas the mid-cap index fell 0.53%.
