The Atlanta Hawks are apparently interested in signing Gordon Hayward. It says loud Yahoo! Sports a sign and trade deal in space.
Hayward has a player option for 2020/21 worth $ 34.2 million that he should have drawn by Tuesday yesterday. However, since his team, the Boston Celtics, would also advocate a separation and a deal is being worked on, it was agreed to postpone this deadline until November 19th.
In theory, Atlanta would have the ability to trade directly for Hayward: With around $ 44 million in cap space, the Georgia team has space for the 30-year-old’s contract. With a sign-and-trade, he would forego the option, first extend it in Boston and then be traded directly to Atlanta.
Hayward, however, is likely to attract interest from several teams. In the past season he averaged 17.5 points and 6.7 rebounds for Boston with good odds (50 percent from the field, 38 percent from the triple line). Nevertheless, his three years in Boston so far have been marked by injuries, even during the restart he missed some time and did not achieve his normal form.

Atlanta wants to sign Rajon Rondo
Atlanta is also looking for an experienced playmaker who can relieve franchise guard Trae Young a little. It is expected that the Hawks will make a lucrative offer for Rajon Rondo, who waived his $ 2.7 million option with the Los Angeles Lakers and was in fact “replaced” with the trade for Dennis Schröder.
However, Rondo is said to be flirting with a move to the LA Clippers. However, Atlanta can offer him a lot more money.
