Under investigation by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), the singer who represents the Netherlands in EurovisionJoost Klein due to an unexplained “incident” – and won’t be rehearsing until “newer”.
As Skynews reports the Dutch singer lost his place in the penultimate dress rehearsal for the Eurovision final in Malmö, Sweden on Friday, where she was to appear in fifth place ahead of Israel’s Edan Golan.
It is not yet clear whether Joost will feature in Saturday’s grand final.
The EBU said in a statement: “We are currently investigating an incident reported to us involving the Dutch artist. He will not rehearse until further notice. We have no further comment at this time and will update in due course.”.
However, the attitude of the Dutch singer on Thursday night after the B Semi-Final at the press conference, like that of Marina Satti, was commented upon as during the statements of the Israeli singer he covered his head with a red cloth.
