A shooting has occurred at a hospital in downtown Atlanta, Georgia, USA, killing one person and wounding four others.
On the afternoon of the 3rd local time, 24-year-old Dion Patterson opened fire at Northside Hospital Midtown in Atlanta.
Three of the injured are in critical condition and the suspect is on the run armed with a firearm, Atlanta police said.
Immediately after the shooting, police ordered citizens to evacuate indoors, and at one time the entire downtown Atlanta was paralyzed.
Police said a vehicle was stolen near the scene and was found in a nearby area an hour later.
