In tennis matches from 2025, the ATP will rely entirely on the technology for “out” calls and will make line judges on the men’s tour superfluous. As the player organization announced on Friday, from the season following next, so-called “Electronic Line Calling Live” will be used in all games at ATP level to monitor the lines of the field with a technological instead of a human eye.
