Attack in Iran: Preparing for the Iranian response – Seder night in shelters?

After the reports of an Israeli attack on Iran tonight (Friday), the ball is now in Iran’s hands, and Israel and the world are preparing for a possible response – when the Seder night will be held next Monday.

A senior source in American intelligence told CNN that “Iran is not expected to respond to the Israeli attack tonight”, but the Australian government is urging its citizens to leave Israel: “The security situation is rapidly deteriorating”.

As a reminder, six days following Iran’s unprecedented attack on Israel last Saturday, intense explosions were heard tonight in Iran, Syria and Iraq. An American official told the ABC network that Israel attacked targets in Iran, but did not confirm the attacks in Syria and Iraq. Iranian officials told the New York Times that the attack hit an air base near the city of Isfahan in the center of the country.
