The police are issuing a wanted notice following an attempted kidnapping which occurred at the end of June in the province of Antwerp.
On Tuesday June 27, 2023 between 3:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., a man tried to lure an 11-year-old boy into his van in rue Emiel Blangenois in Schoten (province of Antwerp).
The suspect is between 35 and 40 years old and fair-skinned. He sports a grey-brown beard and mustache and his hair was combed back. He has a purple tattoo on his neck, right side.
At the time, he was wearing a black zippered jacket and black shoes. He wore thick-rimmed black sunglasses. The van was white in color and featured passenger side lettering, a rear double door and a sliding side door.
