The Gabonese and the Pole were previously teammates at Borussia Dortmund in the 2013/14 season where they scored 44 goals between them.
Today, the former Arsenal player is convinced that he and Lewandowski will be even better under the Blaugrana tunic.
Aubameyang and Lewandowski set themselves a challenge
“We are more experienced now and we can do better than in the past. I’m sure we will both do our best to beat the numbers we achieved in Dortmund,” he told ESPN.
Aubameyang is also convinced that the former Bayern Munich player will allow Barcelona to regain their former glory. “[Barcelone] will be able to compete for titles with all the great strikers they have, he said. The quality we have today is really crazy and I always enjoy playing with him”.
