‘Audition No. 1’ Taiwanese celebrity jumped into death and died “Business failure 200 million won debt”

[헤럴드경제=이원율 기자] Ai-Cheng (40), a popular Taiwanese actor and singer, passed away as a result of an extreme choice, local media reported.
According to local media such as Taiwan News on the 17th (local time), Aicheng jumped out of a building near Exit 3 of Luzhou Station on the Taipei Subway around 10 am on the same day.
He died at the scene and was not taken to hospital.
The local media cited the economic downturn caused by the spread of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) as the cause of Aichung’s extreme choice.
The local media said, “The deceased recently ran a restaurant in downtown Taipei and suffered a loss of up to NT$5 million (about 220 million won).
The store was located in Ximending and reportedly closed in April. Ximending is known as the Myeong-dong of Taipei.

Some even said that he had health problems.
The deceased, who had recovered from COVID-19, was reported to be in unstable health, with blood pressure reaching 180 mmHg and heart rate recording 120 beats per minute.
Ai-Cheong, from Malaysia, became a star by ranking first in Season 2 of the Taiwanese audition entertainment program ‘Super Idol’.
He was active as a singer and actor, and met and married actor and show host Wang Tong in 2020.
The bereaved family is preparing funeral arrangements, and the police are investigating the case, local media reported.
