West Indies, who came out to bat in reply, faced challenges right from the start. Captain Shai Hope scored 29 runs, KC Carty scored 40 runs and Roston Chase scored 25 runs. They are the only ones to find the highest score for the team.
It was the Australian bowling line that pulled the Windies. Josh Hazel, Wood Seanregarding and others took three wickets each. Will Sutherland also got two wickets.
For West Indies, Al Zari, Joseph Romario Shepherd and others took two wickets each while Gudkesh Moti took three wickets. The red rubber match of the series will be played at Manuka Oval on February 6.
