Vienna – Austria has declared the early warning level in the gas supply emergency plan. The reason for this is Russia’s announcement that future gas deliveries will only be paid for in rubles, the climate ministry said on Wednesday followingnoon. This will further tighten the surveillance and monitoring system. Energy control measures such as rationing are not planned for the time being, but only from level three.
