The Austrian Davis Cup player Jurij Rodionov has mastered the qualification at the ATP 250 tournament in Astana.
The 24-year-old defeated New Zealander Rubin Statham 7:6(6),6:4 on Wednesday and, like Dominic Thiem and Sebastian Ofner, is in the main field of the 250 hard court competition.
Rodionov will face Frenchman Gregoire Barrere in the first round. Thiem will face the Peruvian Juan Pablo Varillas, Ofner will face the Hungarian Marton Fucsovics.
