On September 14, 2023, the AUSTRIAN MUSICRAT invites you to the next AUSTRIAN JAZZ SUMMIT in Vienna’s PORGY & BESS. The event offers the opportunity to discuss current topics that are relevant to the Austrian jazz scene.
Agenda
Working groups:
- Structural funding 1 – Economy (organizers, booking, fair pay, scholarships, …)
- Structural funding 2 – Education (music education, schools, public spaces, …)
- Structural funding 3 – International cultural exchange (export/import)
Topics in the plenary session:
- Austrian Jazz & Global Music Prize (new concept, financing, media work, etc.)
- Jazz Festival Vienna (reorganization, financing, application)
Everyone who cares regarding the local jazz scene is expressly invited.
