Returning Giant Slalom: A Showdown at Beaver Creek

This Sunday, December 8th marks the grand finale of the men’s races in Beaver Creek. The highlight? The return of the giant slalom after a five-year hiatus. The “Birds of Prey” promises a thrilling showdown with 62 competitors, including six skilled Austrian athletes representing the ÖSV.

With Manuel Feller, the current top Austrian giant slalom contender, taking a break, it’s up to Stefan Brennsteiner and his teammates to make their mark.

Sixty-two skiers will push off in the giant slalom, starting with Loic Meillard from Switzerland. He will be followed by Croatian Filip Zubcic and Swiss competitor Thomas Tumler.
Athletes like the Austrian athletes,

Stefan Brenseiner will start 17th, followed by Raphael Haaser (19th), and Patrick Feurstein (22nd).

Round two, scheduled for 9 pm local time, will see the competition heat up.
