Kraus-Winkler: ÖTT as a central exchange location for tomorrow’s tourism

“This year, the Austrian Tourism Day is once again the central exchange location for one of the most important industries in our country. With the ÖTT’s focus on the most important trends of the future, we give all participants impulses, orientation and ideas – be it at the company or destination level or even at the political level. We need to start drawing the future of tourism now. Only then can we continue to be successful,” says Tourism State Secretary Susanne Kraus-Winkler.

Seeber: ÖTT offers future prospects for tourism

“After the last few tough years, Austria’s tourism has managed to make a comeback and turn around the trend. To ensure that it stays that way, it is now important to set the right course for the future and successful tourism: It is therefore the order of the day to deal with innovative trends and challenges. The ÖTT offers a day full of future prospects that will be of essential importance for the tourism industry,” says Robert Seeber, chairman of the federal tourism and leisure sector at the Austrian Chamber of Commerce.

Steharnig-Staudinger: Innovative setting for a new type of ÖTT experience

“This year we deliberately decided on a new, more innovative setting for the ÖTT in order to make the program even more noticeable. The ÖTT 2024 will be characterized by the future map for tourism, which is intended to encourage the audience to engage with the future of the tourism industry. “I’m looking forward to trying out something together at this year’s ÖTT that the industry has never seen before,” says ÖW managing director Astrid Steharnig-Staudinger.
