Graz – The writer Dževad Karahasan is dead. The converter between the worlds died in Graz on Friday, as his publisher Suhrkamp announced. Born in Bosnia, he commuted between his old hometown of Sarajevo and his adopted hometown of Graz. He was 70 years old. Karahasan was considered one of the most renowned authors in the Balkans – and one of the most honored.
