The authorities reacted following the incidents that occurred on Saturday following Lucerne – St. Gallen. Fans of both clubs were indeed banned from traveling to the Super League on Thursday.
According to the Conference of Directors of the Cantonal Departments of Justice and Police, the visitor areas will remain closed for both Grasshopper – St. Gallen and Sion – Lucerne. Fan transports that were already organized are cancelled.
In addition, the visitor sectors will also be closed next season during all matches between Lucerne and St. Gallen. The presidents of both clubs support these decisions, as well as the Super League.
Saturday following the match in Lucerne, scuffles had occurred. Seven people had been injured.
