Authorities investigate discovery of man’s body and possible relationship with video
The victim’s body was located in the village of Esquipulas and it is being investigated whether what happened is related to the video.

The Public Ministry (MP) reported this Monday, March 18, that the Esquipulas Municipal Prosecutor’s Office is investigating the discovery of the body of a male person.
The discovery occurred in the San Juan hamlet, Valle Dolores village, in the aforementioned municipality, on March 14.
The victim’s body was transferred to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences, where personnel will carry out the pertinent tests to identify it and establish the causes of death.
The investigating entity reported that in relation to the video circulating on social networks, the corresponding analysis is continuing in order to establish if it is related to the event under investigation.
A video circulating on social networks shows the moment in which the victim was allegedly kidnapped by an armed commando.
According to local media, three people were kidnapped and the whereabouts of the other two are still unknown.
