On the occasion of the arson attack on the Jewish Ceremonial Hall at Vienna’s Central Cemetery, numerous Austrian authors, other cultural workers and major domestic writers’ associations have drawn up a call for the consistent fight once morest anti-Semitic acts. It calls on political and church institutions to “consistently condemn and prevent any anti-Semitic action of any kind in Austria.”
