Saltillo Coahuila. June 23, 2023. The Faculties of Medicine Torreón and Saltillo Units of the Autonomous University of Coahuila, were positioned within the top 10 in the National Ranking of the National Exam for Applicants for Medical Residency (ENARM) 2022 of Public Schools and Faculties of Medicine.
Thanks to the training that the students have, as well as the teachers of both schools, they managed to position themselves once again within the best medical schools in the country.
The ENARM is a test that is carried out annually in Mexico, and whose objective is to evaluate the knowledge, abilities and skills of applicants for medical residency and is an essential requirement to access one of the medical residency places in the Mexico.
The exam is carried out through audited and notarially certified processes in all its phases, it has a comprehensive security system that guarantees the quality, security and confidentiality of the process and it explores the capacity for the correct use of medical knowledge.
The Faculty of Medicine Unit Torreón was placed in fourth place, it had 154 supporters, of which 107 were selected, which is equivalent to a percentage of 69 percent and the average in medical knowledge was 59.87, being surpassed only by its peers from San Luis Potosí, Querétaro and Guanajuato.
Meanwhile, the Saltillo Unit School of Medicine was ranked ninth, with 142 students who supported the test, of which 82 were selected, giving a percentage of 57.7 percent and the average medical knowledge was 58.94.
The Universities within the top 10 of the National Exam for Applicants for Medical Residency (ENARM) 2022 of Public Schools and Faculties of Medicine are: Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí, Autonomous University of Querétaro, Autonomous University of Guanajuato, Autonomous University of Coahuila with the fourth and ninth place, Autonomous University of Chihuahua, Autonomous University of Aguascalientes, Autonomous University of Nuevo León, National Autonomous University of Mexico and the Autonomous University of Yucatan.
The results obtained by the Torreón Unit and Saltillo Unit Faculties of Medicine are thanks to the quality of their teaching staff, as well as the vocation of their students, as a response to the commitment they have with Coahuila society and the country.
