The Automobile Club of Germany (AvD) is withdrawing from organizing the Saxony Rally around Zwickau. The presidency decided that. The AvD justified the decision by fundamentally rethinking its motorsport commitment and adapting it to the changing framework conditions. The Young Talent program remains unaffected and will be held again this year as part of the ADAC Opel e Rally Cup.
For the ADAC, the cancellation of the Sachsen Rally means that an alternative must be found for the third round of the German Rally Championship (DRM) planned there in May. (awm)
