AVTOVAZ recalls Lada Vesta NG to replace steering column switches

In order to guarantee the consumer properties of Lada Vesta NG (new generation) cars, the plant is conducting another recall campaign. According to prescription No. 12-24, the steering column switches are replaced. The Lada.Online website has reviewed the document.

Owners of Lada Vesta NG from the list were sent messages about the need to visit the LADA dealership. The auto center will replace the steering column switches. Depending on the car, one or two shift levers will be changed.

This procedure solves problems in the operation of direction indicators (for example, turn signals do not work well in cold weather) and wipers.

It is worth noting that we have previously talked about regulation No. 110-23, within the framework of which dealerships changed the steering column switch module assembly (snail). It was a service campaign, which, due to massive customer requests, turned into a recall campaign.

At the LADA dealership we were told that at the moment this order receives the most requests from owners.

Conducting recall and service campaigns is normal practice both around the world and in Russia. This demonstrates the responsibility of the automaker and its interest in maintaining long-term relationships with its customers. Unfortunately, many still perceive such actions in a negative light.
