AXA Assurance Morocco launched a dedicated hotline on February 16, 2026, to support clients impacted by recent severe weather events across several Moroccan provinces, the company announced today.
The hotline, accessible via the short code 2992, is intended to expedite claims processing for policyholders affected by flooding and storm damage, particularly in the provinces of Larache, Kénitra, Sidi Kacem, and Sidi Slimane. These areas have experienced significant disruption due to intense rainfall, according to a company press release.
AXA is mobilizing specialized teams to provide personalized support and guidance to clients navigating the aftermath of the storms, offering assistance with insurance claims. The initiative aims to serve as a “privileged point of contact” for those affected, prioritizing clarity, availability, and proximity during a difficult time.
Gilles Fromageot, CEO of AXA Afrique Atlantique, emphasized the company’s commitment to its clients. “In an exceptional context like this, our absolute priority is to be present alongside our clients, to listen to them and to support them,” Fromageot stated. Moncef Alami Chantoufi, Directeur Exécutif Services & Expérience Client et Indemnisation, added that teams are “fully mobilized to respond to the solicitations of impacted clients in the declared disaster areas and accompany them with attention and speed.”
The launch of the hotline reflects a broader trend within the insurance industry to proactively address customer needs following natural disasters. While the financial impact of the storms on AXA’s performance remains to be seen, the company’s response underscores the importance of efficient claims handling and customer relations. The service is available to all AXA Assurance Morocco clients reporting damage in the affected provinces.
