He wants to be reimbursed after the concert where Aya Nakamura performed on November 11 at the Pierre Aliker stadium in Fort-de-France. The protesters do not question the artist’s performance. They believe that the quality of this event did not match the price of the tickets.

After a weekend tour of the West Indies, disenchantment grew following Aya Nakamura’s “timed” concert in Fort-de-France. The quality of the star artist’s concert did not only make people happy. More and more of them are crying scandal over the services provided by the production, organizer of the event.

The majority of dissatisfied people were not in the pit, facing the stage, but in the stands. They were holders of a “Gradin Or” ticket, with an average cost of 90 euros. For them, the price of their tickets ensured that they would attend a concert in comfortable conditions.

Laureen James is one of these disgruntled people. With her daughter, she paid 184.50 euros to attend the Aya Nakamura concert in stand A of Dillon stadium. The dream for these two fans was short-lived from the artist’s first notes.

Everyone looked at each other, we couldn’t hear anything! We had to listen to the chants of the audience in the pits to know which song Aya Nakamura was performing. We were the jokers.

Like other families seated in the “Gold Stands” of stand A, Laureen tried to raise awareness among the organizers of inaudibility of the concert.

For 45 minutes, she asked security agents to obtain improvements, or even access in front of the stage, in vain. She even claims to have been the object of mockery from members of the security service who allegedly told her “too bad for you if you bought a place in the gold tier”. According to her, some even threatened to release the dogs to calm her down...

After the disappointment, it’s time for action. Criticisms are starting to pour out on social networks. Some question the duration of the concert (the artist spoke on this subject) others criticize the sound quality of the event. Laureen James, who is used to concerts, cannot let this pass. “At this price, we can no longer be satisfied with “I bon kon sa“, (expression used to tolerate lack of rigor).

She calls on the production in charge of the concert on social networks, sends an email to them as well as to the partners, without answers to date. Just a message on the production’s social networks which could be similar to an apology message.

This laconic message does not appease the discontent of Laureen James who brought together in a collective all those unhappy with the Aya Nakamura concert. She claims nearly 180 members and the figure is increasing, she maintains.

I was disappointed to find that these seats were actually located far from the stage. The absence of a screen large enough to compensate for this distance also contributed to spoiling our experience, by limiting the visibility and immersion that we could expect from seats in this category.

The collective considers by a letter sent to the production of the event that there is deception in the service sold. The sound quality of the concert, the visibility of the artist, the services to which a “Gradin Or” ticket entitles them are not met. They estimate according to the consumption code, that they must be reimbursed.

Without action on your part, collective and individual measures will be taken to obtain compensation for the damage suffered.

Contacted by telephone, the managers of the Be Prod Event company told us that they were not aware of the letter sent by the collective. They say they are affected by the criticism, because they invested a lot in the organization of this concert and believe they have fulfilled the conditions required by the artist and for this type of event. They wish to communicate with the collective as soon as possible.
