Asryan made a statement about Azerbaijan’s invasion of Armenia at a meeting with representatives of diplomatic missions in Jermuk
The armed forces of Azerbaijan invaded the territory of Armenia in the direction of Jermuk. This was stated by the head of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Edward Asryan.
“The Azerbaijani army invaded the territory of Armenia in the direction of Jermuk. The invasion was carried out in the east of the country for 7.5 km,” Asryan said during a meeting with representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Armenia in Jermuk.
Earlier, the Armenian Defense Ministry announced risk of war with Azerbaijan. “There is a clear risk [начала полномасштабной войны]. You know how fragile the situation in our region is,” said Armenian Deputy Defense Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan.
