For baboons, puffed wheat is a tasty snack. Accordingly, researchers like to use the puffed grain as a reward. In a new study with Austrian participation, red baboons (Papio papio), also known as Guinea baboons, were able to use touchscreen terminals to choose whether their own species would be provided with puffed wheat – or whether they would be provided with puffed wheat themselves.
