Vienna – An unusual emergency call was received by the Vienna emergency call center on Tuesday evening: a man and his heavily pregnant wife might no longer make it to a hospital following the onset of labour. Under telephone guidance, he helped give birth to his second child on the Vienna Southeast Tangente and tied the umbilical cord with a shoelace. Mother and son are doing well, a spokesman for professional rescue reported on Wednesday.
