Platinum Games, the iconic studio to which we owe many nuggets, has just given birth to Babylon’s Fall: its launch trailer has been released and this sets the tone.
Well, that escalated quickly
Climbing a tower is not always easy, especially when it comes to the Tower of Babel and it is filled with monsters with minimal sympathy capital. It is, however, the purpose of Babylon’s Fallthe last born of a rather prestigious studio, namely Platinum Games: in terms of action, the firm is not at its first attempt since we are talking about the dads of the saga Bayonettafrom NieR Automatad’Astral Chain or even supercharged Vanquish.
It was therefore yesterday that their new baby was offered to the whole world and, as tradition dictates, a launch trailer was released in stride. You can enjoy it in our video player above, just to get you in the mood before a potential purchase. Our test, meanwhile, should not take too long.
Swords, monsters and homies
For this muscular slasher with very “Platinum-like” vibes, the developers have opted for a slightly different model from that of their usual productions: first of all, you should know that this is a title playable alone or in cooperation, up to four. A multiplayer on which the emphasis is largely placed and moreover, the software likes to offer other very fashionable facets.
Among them, we can mention a whole system of seasons with regular content, such as additional quests, new bosses, new weapons and armor or even brand new game modes. To go hand in hand, battle passes will be deployed: if the first will be free for everyone, this will not be the case for the second, which will still present some free stages for those who do not wish to take out the credit card. The set will of course be full of unlockable rewards.
Babylon’s Fall is therefore already available on PC, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
