For a healthy return to school, come and get vaccinated! – CISSS of the Outaouais

A special childhood vaccination event will take place on August 12 and 13, 2023. This vaccination activity will take place at 75 boulevard de la Gappe in Gatineau, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
During these two vaccination days, parents will be able to update the regular vaccination record of their children aged 4 to 6 years. Indeed, your child will be able to receive the Adacel Polio vaccines (against diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus and poliomyelitis), ProQuad (against measles and chickenpox) and several others, depending on those missing from the child’s vaccination record. . Catch-up vaccinations are also offered for children 2 to 4 years old.
We would like to remind you that vaccination is one of the most effective means of prevention to protect your child against several diseases. It also protects the population by reducing the circulation of these diseases. To reassure parents and children, we have made several adaptations to our vaccination environments, in order to welcome this younger clientele and to make the environment and the approach more comfortable.
