Thiruvananthapuram ∙ The local body ombudsman rejected the corporation’s request to dismiss the case in the letter controversy. In the event that the High Court dismissed the case, the Ombudsman rejected the demand of the Corporation Secretary to dismiss the case before the Ombudsman. The petition was filed by Youth Congress district president Sudhirshah Pal.
The Ombudsman observed that the petition filed by Sudheer Shah was different from the petition dismissed by the High Court. The petitioner’s request to add CPM district secretary Anavoor Nagappan as an accused in the case will be examined. The petition will be considered again on February 22.
