Asher is back on her feet and home now. The family now wants to enjoy the upcoming Christmas celebrations at a leisurely pace.
Once again, US athletes Bode Miller (45) and his wife Morgan experience a moment of shock with one of their children. As the mother of six reveals in her Instagram story, the two had to go to the hospital with three-year-old Asher as an emergency. As the 35-year-old reveals, the little one had a seizure due to a high fever. “The incident scared us almost to death,” wrote Morgan to a picture on which the little one is obviously exhausted asleep on his dad’s stomach.
“Life is always on a knife’s edge and that’s no stranger to us,” she continues, playing on the June 10, 2018, when a sad event overshadowed the Millers’ family life. On that day, her then 19-month-old daughter Emeline drowned in the neighbors’ pool. The current event is particularly sad because the couple was taken with their son in the same ambulance to the same hospital as their girl at the time. “But this time we’re going home with our child,” Morgan said confidently in her story.
Little Asher is home again
She has now been able to give her followers the all-clear, because Asher is back at home and in good condition given the circumstances. She continues to admit that she learned from the incident: “I was reminded to slow down during this crazy holiday season and recognize life’s little gifts because we already have everything we need… our loved ones, our health and the time together.” Together, the parents can now look to the future with hope with their sons Nash (7), Easton (4) and twins Asher and Aksel (3). Bode has two other children from previous relationships.
