The Fourth Criminal Court in Bahrain sentenced an Asian man to five years in prison for money laundering. Money earned from selling drugs was tried to be laundered.
The court ordered the confiscation of 2,11,272 dinars seized from the accused and a fine of 20,000 dinars. After serving the sentence, the accused is also ordered to be deported from Bahrain irrevocably.
