Dubai (Archyde.com)
Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, said today, Tuesday, that the company obtained a license to provide crypto-asset services from the Central Bank of Bahrain, the first license of its kind in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. “The Bahrain licensing is the cornerstone of our journey to obtain full licensing and regulatory procedures globally.”
Financial regulators worldwide have targeted Binance, with some banning certain activities on the trading platform and others warning clients that it is not authorized to operate in their regions.
The statement said that the license allows the trading and management of crypto-asset portfolios.
