News from Angola – Banco Angolano de Investimentos (BAI) inaugurated three new Banking Agent service posts in Luanda.
According to the document that Notícias de Angola had access to today, banking services are located in the areas of Golf 2, Benfica and Kikuxi, totaling 365 posts throughout the national territory, within the strategy of providing banking services closer to citizens.
According to the document, the opening act will contribute to the development of entrepreneurship and the promotion of employability levels are part of the objectives of the expansion of the network of BAI Banking Agents, and the recent inaugurations allowed the creation of several jobs.
BAI, with the opening of these posts, which have the capacity to carry out an average of 100 operations per day, also complies with Notice 18/22, of the BNA, which determines the mandatory presence of banking services in all municipalities in the country, in order to facilitate the population’s access to these services and increase levels of financial inclusion.
At the BAI bank agents’ posts, customers can carry out various operations such as opening accounts, deposits, transfers, payments and withdrawals, working with longer hours than those of traditional bank branches.
