Balance and fall prevention workshops

The CPTPS of the Monts du Lyonnais organizes in Montrottier from March 10 a cycle of 4 sessions devoted to balance and the prevention of falls for people over 70 years old. The latter will learn to improve their balance and adapt their activities.

They will understand how to arrange their home and balance their diet. And regain confidence after a fall. The workshop will be led by health professionals: occupational therapist, psychomotrician, dietician and teacher in adapted physical activity. The screenings will take place in the Michel-Croizer room, Cinéma de Montrottier on Fridays 10, 17, 24 and 31 March from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The CPTS des Monts du Lyonnais is an association under the 1901 law created in September 2019. Its territory is made up of 30 municipalities. It has the particularity of covering two communities of municipalities: the northern part of the community of municipalities of the Monts du Lyonnais and a large part of the community of municipalities of the country of L’Arbresle; i.e. 51,228 inhabitants and approximately 280 liberal health professionals, care establishments and medico-social services.

A Territorial Professional Health Community (CTPS) brings together health actors to coordinate care and improve the health system. It acts on four axes: the improvement of access to care, the organization of multi-professional pathways, support for health professionals and the development of territorial prevention actions.

The workshop is free, but the number of places is limited. Reservations are therefore imperative and must be made as soon as possible. It is to be hoped that in the event of significant demand, other workshops will be scheduled later.

Convenient. Registration with Mrs. Martine Cœur, occupational therapist at Agir’ergo at 06.52.84.16.91. Practical: The CTPS offers tools for patients, including a directory of healthcare players on its territory: https://cpts-montsdulyonnais.fr/outils-patients.
