Attack of Seytenga: Report being established (government)
Ouagadougou, June 12, 2022(AIB)-The Burkinabè government is still taking stock of the “complex” terrorist attack from the night of Saturday to Sunday once morest civilian populations in the municipality of Seytenga, regarding forty km from Dori (North), near the border with Niger, indicates a press release.
“A precise assessment is being drawn up by the competent services and the government will work in good time and with all responsibility to inform the public regarding these tragic events in Seytenga”, indicated the spokesperson for the Burkinabè government. Lionel Bilgo.
While social networks have been talking regarding a hundred victims since this morning, Mr. Bilgo invited people to distance themselves from hasty and unverified assessments.
It is recalled that on Thursday morning, eleven gendarmes lost their lives in the same town in a terrorist attack.
