Balaveer star Dev Joshi as part of SpaceX’s space mission to orbit the moon. Dev Joshi is on a one-week space journey as part of the Dearmoon project. The group of eight will travel next year. Joshi is the only traveler from India. Dev Joshi gained attention through the TV shows Baal Veer and Baal Veer Returns. He has been acting since the age of three. He is a native of Gujarat. Sharing the news, Dev Joshi wrote on social media that this is a proud achievement and he is happy to be able to represent India in front of the world.
Dear Moon Project is announced in 2017. This is the first lunar mission involving civilians. In 2018, Japanese billionaire Yusaku Misawa bought the entire seat of the SpaceX rocket. The team consists of artists, content creators and athletes from different parts of the world. Other passengers besides Dev Joshi are American DJ and producer Steve Aoki, American YouTuber Tim Dodd, Czech video creator Yemi AD, Irish photographer Rhiannon Adam, British photographer Karim Ilia, American filmmaker Brendan Hall and South Korean K-pop musician Top. Kaitlyn Farrington, a winter sports star from Idaho, and Miu, a Japanese dancer, are also on the back-up list of travelers. There were more than 1 million applicants from 249 countries to be a part of the first private trip to the Moon.
